Hi All,

Can someone please tell me what the x$ objects are. I've come across a reference to them in O'Rielly's performance tuning book, but it doesn't explain what they are.

Also if you know of any clever uses of the objects then I'd be interested to hear them.

I assume that they are releated to the cached views accessed via the V$ objects.
