Hi, everybody.

Up to now I spent a lot of time trying to get Personal Oracle 7 (Windows NT 4.0) running with ODBC. I installed SQL*NET Client, SQL*Net Add On and ODBC 32 Bit driver with the oracle installer then added a SQL*NET entry with SQL Net Easy Configuration (TCP/IP) and last but not least added an ODBC entry to the system (all of it on the same machine, just for testing).

My first question : where is the connection between the entries in the SQL*Net Configuration Program and the entries in the ODBC Manager ? I dont see any.

My second question : I only get an error message like 'Driver returned an invalid value for ODBC_DRIVER_ODBC_VER (or no value) : %s' when accessing via ODBC. What am I doing wrong ??

Thanx a lot for every hint.

Denis.
