Please include your email address next time you ask a question.

Cobol is ok, but Oracle skills will get you more job opportunities. Believe me--this is the voice of lots of (18 years with Cobol) experience.

As for the Input truncated... message, it comes from SQL Plus when you use something like Microsoft's Notepad to create an input script. Put a Carriage Return character at the end of the last line (and don't type any spaces or anything else after that), and the message will go away.

I can't believe Oracle doesn't get rid of that silly message!
