HELP: run 7.3 compiled DBI on 7.1 installation: ORA-1019

Hi,

I tried to run a perl script using DBI on a Oracle 7.1 installation. Perl (DBI) was compiled on another machine with the 7.3 libraries and headers, both boxes are running Solaris 2.5.1. What I get is

ORA-1019: unable to allocate memory in the user side (probably a symptom of a deeper problem)

Is there any chance of getting this running or do I have to recompile with the older libraries. This will be difficult due to lack of a C compiler on the 7.1 machine.
