Before there was a Larry Ellison or a Scott McNealy, there was Kenneth Olsen, founder and former CEO of Digital Computers. He thinks that personal computers are wreaking havoc in businesses, that companies are floundering in a sea of excess computing power. In his quest to pursue a more simple model for doing computing through technology came the network computer.
