Hi there Les,

Thanks for the reply. I suspected that . It just seems that i cannot believe the existence of a _major_ bug in either NT or Oracle. As mentioned in my original post, my code is very simple. More then that, the same code _does_ work for Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 or Oracle 7.3.2 ( i can't remember the exact version of the Oracle since it was in a former firm i used to work for ). As i said, more then anything else, this is quite embarrassing. Anyway, thanks again for your concern and reply.
