Our client, a consulting firm based in California, has immediate requirements for the following professionals with either financial or manufacturing experience, for 2 years+ Term Contracts, based in Los Angeles:
SENIOR CONSULTANT - FUNCTIONAL Provides solutions to solve complex business and/or technical issues with the understanding of client's business environment and practices. Performs project-lead task responsibilities to which they are assigned and provides guidance and direction to junior consultants. Maintains positive relationships with clients to which they are assigned.
SKILLS
Experience in manufacturing, distribution or financial applications areas
Experience with Oracle Applications or similar packaged applications
Experience with implementing the specialty application at least once
Knowledge of implementation methodology
Big 6 consulting experience and/or industry background
Advise and set up Oracle and/or other applications in manufacturing,
distribution or financial areas
Awareness of Oracle's database and tools concepts and functionality form
experience or through entry level training
Analyze business requirements in an application environment
Demonstrate strong logical/analytical and problem solving skills
Define detailed requirements
Complete all assigned tasks on time
Focus on quality deliverables
Conduct business engagements in a professional manner
Submit all administrative work on time
QUALIFICATIONS
College degree, additional education is a plus
CPA, CPIM certified
1-5 years experience in manufacturing, distribution or financial
application areas
Oracle database and SQL knowledge (a plus)
Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills
Ability to act as team lead in one application area
Ability to provide leadership on functional tasks within a project
Ability to establish good working relationships with a diverse group of
people and skills
Ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and to function well under
pressure
