Our client, a California based consulting firm, has immediate needs for experienced consultants in both finaancial and manufacturing applications for 2+ years Term contracts:
SENIOR CONSULTANT - TECHNICAL Provides solutions to solve complex technical and business issues. Performs project-lead task responsibilities to which they are assigned and provides guidance and direction to junior consultants. Builds and maintain positive relationships with clients to which they are assigned.
SKILLS
Familiar with UNIX and /or VMS
Oracle database and tools including SQL*PLus, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, Forms and
reports
Advise and set up Oracle and/or other applications, e.g., financials,
manufacturing, human resources
Analyze business requirements in an application environment
Demonstrate strong logical/analytical and problem solving skills
Define detailed requirements
Perform analysis of a large/complex business area
Design and develop module specifications
Develop complex queries
Demonstrate effective time management
Complete all assigned tasks on time
Focus on quality deliverables
Conduct business engagements in a professional manner
Submit all administrative work on time
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Computer science, Information systems (preferred for technical
consultant)
CPA certified (preferred for financial functional consultant)
Strong database and SQL knowledge
Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills
Ability to provide leadership on technical or functional tasks within a
project
Ability to establish good working relationships with a diverse group of
people and skills
Ability to handle simultaneous tasks and to function well under pressure
Project positive image
1-3 years of relevant technical or functional experience
