Free data warehouse seminar in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore

After recently announcing its entrance into the Asian market through its Asia  Pacific Division, Prism Solutions is now presenting a FREE Educational Seminar  Series in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.

The Seminar will be held in the following locations:

Session One: A Strategic Focus for Business
(Primary Audience: CEO's, CFO's and Senior Functional Managers)

In Session One, Warren Weiss, President and CEO of Prism Solutions, will  provide you with an understanding of how the need for the data warehouse has  evolved, the strategic benefits for business in building a data warehouse and  some success factors and case studies. Also participating in this session,  Sarah Bassett, Prism's Marketing Manager for Data Quality Solutions, will  discuss a methodology for effectively managing and improving the quality of  your data resources which can result in a tremendous business payoff.

Session Two: An Architectural Focus for Information Technology
(Primary Audience: CIO's, IT Managers and IT Practitioners)

In Session Two, Mark Rankovic, Prism's Vice President of Asia Pacific, who has  implemented more than ten data warehouses in the past two years, will focus on  the reality and practicality of data warehouse architecture and building  techniques.

Also in this session, Doug Laney, Central US Consulting Manager at Prism will  discuss a methodology for a comprehensive yet flexible approach to data  warehousing which has been created through the field experience of industry  experts. Mr Laney will also discuss why so many data warehousing efforts are  considered failures, the need for a new kind of approach, and the concepts,  characteristics and content of true data warehouse methodology.
