Hi,

Any ideas?

I am attempting a fresh install of 7.2.2.3 on Solaris 2.5.1 and after the rdbms installs OK this command is run:

/oracle/bin/sqldba @/oracle/dbs/crdbA.sql

and this error results:

DBA-00314: unable to attach to default host

oerr says this:

$ oerr dba 314
314, 0, "unable to attach to default host"
// *Cause: The default host has not been set up correctly
// *Action: Use the SET INSTANCE command with a valid host specification
// to set up a default host.

Thanks,
Gary Robinson
