Hi,

I wonder wether your db has gone for ever.

At the point disk5 crasched the only thing you'll had to do is:

  1. bring down db
  2. edit iniorcl.ora and remove control file on disk 5 from the control file list
  3. startup db nomount and remove redo log of disk5 from redo log list

What you can do now I don't know.
