Whoah! You are contrasting two products which are at the oposite extremes in intended use, cost, maintenance effort, ease of use, robustness, speed, scalability, etc.

It's hard to imagine Oracle and Access even being mentioned in the same breath!

If you want real feedback, please elaborate on the project. Like amount of data, platform, mission-critical-ness of the data, recoverability, yadda, yadda, yadda.
