ORA 7.3 - YES! - PO7.3 -NO!!

Need some help on this:

On a Win95 client I manage to connect to a 7.3 server on a HP9000, using SQL-NET 2.3. I can connect both with SQL-PLUS and ODBC-Test.

On the same PC I can connect to PO 7.3 running on the Win95 PC from SQL-PLUS,
as a mather of fact I can do this in SQL-PLUS:

CONNECT SCOTT/TIGER_at_A where A is in TNSNAMES.ORA

and then do this

CONNECT SCOTT/TIGER_at_2: but if i try to connect to PO7.3 through ODBC, I receive an ORA-03121.

I have tried several ODBC-version from Oracle, found on the Ora7.3 client CD, and the two latest one on Free download at http://www.oracle.com
