Hi,

I have a web server on a 486-66 32 meg, running linux and apache. What do I need to get to run a server-side database on my config?

I've heard of something called perl DBI and DBD for Oracle. Would this apply to me?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm anxious to get going on extending an educational app which runs client-side only at the present. I need the server-side database capabilities for courseware and student tracking.

Thanx, Jim
