Which? ln() takes one argument, log() takes two.

If this is not the problem, you might check that you have not defined a procedure/function of your own (in the same package) called ln (or log).

I have not experienced this problem with Personal Oracle 7.1.3 (although I have the prudence to use a Mac!)
