Paul,

We have been running Oracle on Netware for several years now. Our experience has been negative. For most of what we do, it does not abend on a consistent basis. But it abends often enough that it severely limits our ability to service our client.

Based on our experience I would strongly recommend not using it. Every time it abends you worry if your DB will remount.

In addition, we use Netware 3.12 which is not really an operating system in the classic sense (as opposed to NT or Unix.) It is a major pain to remotely administer. For example, the RCONSOLE utility is painfully slow over a direct modem connection...
