Re: calling windows .DLL from ORACLE Forms?

I posted a response to this earlier, but got my Dev2000 versions mixed up a little.

The ORA_FFI package in Forms in Dev2000 ver 1.1 should *not* drop the dll from memory, at the close of each form in a multi-form application, in Dev2000 version 1.2 the ORA_FFI package in Forms *does* drop the dll from memory with the close of each form in a multi-form application.

Sorry for any confusion arrising from that.

It is, having said the above, probably sensible to treat all versions of Forms *as though they would* drop the dll on close of forms, just to be on the safe side allowing for upgrades or whatever.
