Is anybody using Fleet Patching and Provisioning (FPP), previously Rapid Home Provisioning (RHP), to provision their GI and DB Oracle Homes? We currently use it for software provisioning and to "move" between GI and DB working copies (WC) on our database clusters. We have used it successfully for GI upgrades, and moving between GI/DB WCs with later CPUs in place.

Are you using FPP to add nodes to your Oracle Grid Infrastructure cluster. - "rhpctl addnode gihome"? Has anybody performed a "rhpctl move gihome", but then attempted to revert before all nodes were moved to the destination WC? We recently encountered issues with both of these processes and are working SRs with Oracle Support.

If you are a user of FPP and would like to discuss it further, I'd love to set up a meeting to share experiences.

Thank you,

Mike
