Are these figures correct? Actually in our X8-2 half rack high capacity we get ~179TB of flash storage. And here you showed the same on X7-2, so i have not checked though but you may double check the data sheet to have the correct IOPS and storage stats to get a clear comparison.

And I think if Disk IOPS is degrading from ~28K to ~18K, even if you have other small databases in existing X3 and you are moving only the critical DB to X8 , you should do a full fledged production workload replay on RAT to see the real impact. As because any Disk IO dependent workload may see degradation. Others may comment.
