We are trying to install Oracle OPI using an Oracle 19c database. The database is running on Red Hat 7. The issue we are running into is that the OPI software wants to connect to the database using the SID, but the OPI configuration software wants to connect to the database using the service_name. Is there a way to configure the listener to accept both?

This is the definition in the listener.ora file:

SID_LIST_LISTENER =
  (SID_LIST =
    (SID_DESC =
(GLOBAL_DBNAME = rinnprod.rit.edu)
(SID_NAME = RINNPROD)
(ORACLE_HOME = /oracle/app/product/19.0.0.0)
    )
  )

Thank you,
