Re: wrong start_time and start_date in v$transaction

There do not seem to be any clues in the definition of gv$transaction either?

Start date is just ktcxbstm which is a varchar...

Interestingly start_time is also a varchar defined as

to_date(ktcxbstm,'MM/DD/RR HH24:MI:SS','NLS_CALENDAR=Gregorian'),

For the databases that are "wrong" are there unusual NLS settings or do they differ much from your client tool's NLS settings?
