That's probably the reason it cannot use the standby logfiles. You can specify BLOCKSIZE 512 when creating the (standby)log files. ( ..ADD LOGFILE ... SIZE ... BLOCKSIZE 512 ) The storage array says it prefers 4096 byte blocks for performance reasons but it works with 512 also,
