Howard, if the disk issue has been fixed then wouldn't all you need to do is reboot and follow your normal boot procedures?

We have our main server linux redhat failed. Its booted into rescue mode -disk in raid failed replaced and recovered. anyone know a good online linux repair service. I'm a DBA not a linux sys-admin and we are stuck! and as usual we need it fast!
