Yes, it was so called "Apri'l's fools release". Oracle pretends that they released the software. Go to Amazon.com and check when the books about 12.2 are scheduled to appear. The earliest books will be published in April 2017. So far, I is safe to ignore 12.2 and devote the attention the SQL Server on Linux preview. Or you can try put RAC in Docker containers, if you have too much time on your hands. Regards
