Re: DBVisit as an alternative to Oracle Golden Gate Replication.

If you are going cloud and AWS specifically you could use the AWS Database Migration Service with the Schema Conversion Tool to move Oracle to Oracle or Oracle to PostgreSQL. Its not as feature rich as GG but does a good enough job to get your data there and kept in sync.

No license costs and you only pay for the resources you use for the replication instance.
