There are several documents that explain the procedure on what needs to be done to deconfig and config oracle restart configuration after hostname/ip address change.
Have any of you done this in a RAC environment. I am checking the RAC FAQ and found this

More information can be found in the Oracle Documentation, "Oracle® Grid Infrastructure Installation Guides" for Oracle RAC 11g Release 2, chapter 6 - "How to Modify or Deinstall Oracle Grid Infrastructure", subsection: "Deconfiguring Oracle Clusterware Without Removing Binaries".
Did any of you perform hostname change using the the above method ? Are there any issues to be aware of?
