Graphite sounds interesting for stats.
I use highcharts but it's going to take you a bit of programming effort to code what you want to collect, how you want to store it, how to feed it out to a web page and design a jquery webpage to consume the data.

Here is an example that is simple yet much more complicated than the typical stats display. It collects Average Active Session data (without performance package) and displays it in a web page with automated refresh and time select drilldown. It's basically on 3 files which is pretty cool
