Upgrade from 11.2.0.2 to 11.2.0.3 (AIX)

Trying to plan an upgrade of DBMS & GRID from 11.2.0.2 to 11.2.0.3 on AIX.
Reading through various Metalink documents including "Things to consider before upgrading to 11.2.0.3" (#1363369.1)

If I am reading this stuff correctly, I need to do the following:

1. upgrade opatch to a minimum of 11.2.0.1.3 for all DB and GRID oracle-homes
2. apply 11.2.0.2--PSU1 (10248523) to all DB and GRID oracle-homes
3. apply one-off patch 12539000 to DB and GRID oracle-homes
4. upgrade to 11.2.0.3

This seems like a lot of steps for a patch set upgrade.

Do I have this correct?
Has anybody done this yet?
