Hi,
I tried this with 11.2.0.2 with the same statistics setting and I get the same result. I wonder if this is because sys.col_usage$ is some kind of "special" object.
What sort of table are you looking at in your application schema that has the FTS?
By the way this post from Jonathan Lewis indicates that AWR does not report segment scans -
