Hi Jared,

Flash version is just horrible if you're using Firefox on Linux. I found that using Google Chrome on Linux is a lot faster and almost never crashes. So if you're on a Linux desktop, switch to Chrome and give it a try. For those very rare occasions when I need to use a Windows desktop, then I use IE and it's ok. Then on MacOS X with Chrome it's actually fast! (incredible isn't it :)

I use both the Flash and HTML versions of MOS. Flash version mostly for SR creation and management. HTML version for search and Doc ID reference for in-house documents and emails. Indeed, the URL generated from the HTML version are quite a lot better than the Flash ones.

HTH, David
