Given that SQLDeveloper is the new Sqlplusw, then I'm slightly up that famous creek then. I installed an 11g client recently on XP and when I attempted to run SQLDeveloper I was errored out as I don't have a full Java Development System installed, only the run times. Oops!

Looks like command line sqlplus is the one for me then under 11g.

Actually, no, I'll be using Toad on the desktop, and sqlplus on the Unix servers. :-)
