thanks a million for the data and the effort, i really appreciate it.
the problem is, my ASM does not start with default settings:
# crsctl start crs -excl
CRS-2672: Attempting to start 'ora.asm' on 'rac11r2-2'
ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters
CRS-2674: Start of 'ora.asm' on 'rac11r2-2' failed CRS-2679: Attempting to clean 'ora.asm' on 'rac11r2-2' CRS-2681: Clean of 'ora.asm' on 'rac11r2-2' succeeded CRS-2673: Attempting to stop 'ora.ctssd' on 'rac11r2-2' CRS-2677: Stop of 'ora.ctssd' on 'rac11r2-2' succeeded CRS-4000: Command Start failed, or completed with errors.
ASM is still uses the wrong parameters from the spfile delivered by GPNPD. unfortunately editing the xml files in 11.2.0/grid/gpnp/rac11r2-1/profiles/peer doesn't work because they are signed:
[1147484480]clsgpnpm_dumpMsg: "+asm" LeaseDuration="400"/><orcl:ASM-Profile id="asm" Discovery[cont] [1147484480]clsgpnpm_dumpMsg: String="" SPFile="+DATA/rac11r2-cluster/asmparameterfile/registr[cont] [1147484480]clsgpnpm_dumpMsg: y.253.709856875"/><ds:Signature xmlns:ds="http://www.w3.org/2000[cont]
now i have to figure out, how to change the profile without ASM. ASMCMD can change the profile but needs a running ASM instance :(
regards,
-ap
