When I'm at the office I have people constantly interrupting me with stupid questions, people speaking very loudly and laughing even louder and people playing music on their computers... I think that being able to focus on my work is not an option when I'm at work (I know, ironic, isn't it?)
A few months ago, during a major outage, I was in conference with about twenty people trying to resolve the issue (customer was on the line) and some people just started chatting like they were at the pool on a saturday I had to actually mute the call and ask them nicely (maybe not so nicely) to shut up.
My point is... I can't really focus on anything while I'm at the office, so wave/constant e-mails/constant personal e-mail on gmail/chatting with a LOT of people... that's just part of the problem...
