Greg has already replied to this. My question is why you would want to ignore all the recommendations from oracle and best practise and use 3 instances of ASM.

What are you trying to achieve and why do you think this is a good idea

Subject: Multiple ASM instances on the same box

Hi
Do you have scenarios or cases where you have Multiple ASM instances running on the same box . I have 3 databases and 3 ASM instances for each database on the same box. This is working on 10.2.0.4. Oracle says it is not supported configuration. But just want to find if there are anybody out there who have similar configuration.
