I suspect that almost any laptop you can buy nowadays will do the job just fine. You are right to be most concerned about ram and disk. If you also want to do work on the machine then i'd recommend using vm for the db. This means you can isolate the machine that is running oracle from the work image. I'd also for preference put the vm on an external disk so that i have a portable collection of oracle installs. For what it's worth i've been running oracle on various work machines since the days when 8i was current.
