Process stack limit can't be set system wide. You have to put the ulimit command in process profile script, /etc/profile or ~the_user/.profile. See Casper Dik's definitive answer at http://groups.google.com/group/comp.unix.solaris/browse_thread/thread/3c6d0bf641e6be0d
