Hi,

If you aren't running RAC on Vertias, like we do - it's good for you 8-) From Oracle standpoint VCS HA clustering it's just sophisticated watchdog with ability to start/stop/probe/failover between nodes capabilities. Configuration is pretty straightforward, there are some perks in resource dependencies, but that mostly dependent on HA requirements (listener-database relationship, etc). Best source for information would be Veritas/Symantec documentation. There is one trick with VIP under VCS and MA agent. But it's very well explained in Metalink *Note:406014.1. *Feel free to ask specific questions.
