Folks
For a OLTP Benchmark under Transaction Load
Configuration:-
Benchmark Transaction Load Generator Machine <-> APP Server machine <-> DB Server machine
If APP Server machine's total Network Traffic is 150 MBPS If DB Server machine's total Network Traffic is 20 MBPS
Qs Does it imply that the difference i.e. 130 MBPS is coming from the Load Generator machine?
NOTE - Network Traffic Value calculated using the following Command:- Deltas taken between periodic Outputs of "netstat -f inet -p tcp" Command
Oracle 10.2.3.0 (NON-RAC)
Application - Banking Java Application using Oracle thin driver to connect to the Database.
HP-UX 11.11
Cheers & Thanks V much
Vivek
