Folks

For a OLTP Benchmark under Transaction Load

Configuration:-
Benchmark Transaction Load Generator Machine <-> APP Server machine <-> DB Server machine APP Server has separate Network Cards for Communicating with Load Generator Machine & DB Server machine.

Need to Calculate the actual "Amount" of Network traffic (sent + received) in MBPS on each of Cards of the APP Server.

Qs Using netsta -i command, How are the Outputs in "Pkts" to be Converted into MBPS? ... Does "Delta" need to be taken between successive periodic (taken every minute) Outputs of "netstat -i" Command as is done when using the "netstat -f inet -p tcp" Command?

Sample netstat -i Output below:-

Name Mtu Network Address Ipkts Ierrs Opkts Oerrs Coll
