700GB db, takes 1.5 hours to re-sync
to a remote DR site via dedicated
fibre-channel ring after the snap.
Much less if we snap into a second
local volume set for test dbs.
For obvious reasons I can't tell you
the actual price of the mirrorview
licence but suffice to say it was
considerably less than full-on Dataguard.
