Is this bit a mis-copy or has outlook got its HTML->text wrong again :

I'm thinking the '& nbsp;' bit - should that be in your code or not?

Other than that, I can't really see anything that could be causing the problem. :o(

The next question has to be, are there any 'weird' characters in the column crec.s ? Select dump(s, 16) from crec should display the data in Hex format and if you know the failing record in the table, examine the raw data to see what's what.
