Re: Patching databases - time estimates

Hi

Patching from 9.2.0.1/4 to 9.2.0.8:

1. Software upgrade probably 1 hour including your orainventory and sofwtare ackup
2. Catalog upgrade depends what options you have installe din your database, can take from 45 minutes to hours (also depends on your server power of course)
3. 8i to 10g is a major upgrade and not a simple patching process
