I didn't know about a direct path. I was told to take the 9i Upgrade and the 10g Upgrade. They probably wanted my money.

Yes, there is a direct path to go to 10g with one exam. But hold on . . . hey 11g is almost ready! Maybe you should wait and hit that one. Gotta love it . . . Oracle's target is a new major release every 18 months, which means a new certification every 18 months.
