Hi,
Having had a good look around net-snmp on sourceforge, I decided that the clue was in the error message, so I added "smuxpeer 0.0" to the snmpd.conffile and it worked. The IA will now start up with the net-snmp running. My
understanding is that this allows the Oracle IA to work as a sub-agent.

Regards

Pete
