Raj,
Pl have support check to see if patch 4318900 is applicable in your case. We ran into a similar issue a year ago where 9iAS was returning a HTTP 205 reponse - but with a message body attached, which is in violation of W3C message standards - which caused our proxy software (Netegrity) to barf and produce half-garbled output like yours. It took us a good six months to get the issue traced and for Oracle to release this patch.

Message: 205 Response"

Hi All,

I have a Sev1 issue with no resolution. Just want to check if anyone has gotten this error.

  1. 11510 ,10g AS(9041 ) Integration.
  2. We followed all the steps.
  3. When adding a portlet(Application Navigator) to the page the following error is seen.

Usually the Portlet displays the error message - "Error: The listener returned the following Message: 205 Response "

Sometimes the portlet renders the following text -

1f69
Preferences SSWA
System Administrator
US HRMS Manager
14
0 HTTP/1.1 205 Response Date: Mon, 08 Aug 2005 18:23:51 GMT Server: Oracle HTTP
Server Powered by Apache/1.3.19 Cache-Control: no-cache ETag: 0 Expires: Wed,
31 Dec 1969 23:59:59 GMT Pragma: no-cache X-ORACLE-CACHE: WRITE Keep-Alive:
timeout=15 Connection: Keep-Alive Transfer-Encoding: chunked Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 1f 76

4. I have tried all the basic level checks , clearing caches and other stuff..

Can anyone give me ur thoughts on this.

Thanks,
Raj
