Hi!

Assuming the backups are taken through a backup server, a simple solution would be to make use of the encryption feature of the media manager. For instance IBM TSM provides AES 128-bit data encryption during backups. I'm not sure it can be used with TDP Oracle though... But other vendors might provide such encryption features directly for use with RMAN. Does anyone know if that's possible with Netbackup or Networker ?

Bye
Jerome
