Very funny.

I changed the threshold setting for just that volume, now I don't get critical alerts anymore.

New problem now: I have a dbms and listener that show up as status unknown in em10g, even though they are both up.

You know I'm more used to the 9i OEM, that was easier to "clean up" than this newfangled one.

The interface was simpler. I like simple.

  I hope that you have an expedited order in with management for some more cdrom's to alleviate the 0% available space problem that appeared in your system.
Or your SYSMAN has rules that were set up by a clever sys admin to get a page at night and claim overtime??
