Unfortunately due to space limitations, we cannot just copy the files.

Steve,

Well, if you transport them, they can still exist in the 9.2 database, right? Can't you just copy the files into the 10G directory and import the schema?

Subject: 9.2.0.5.0 to 10g AND BACK!

We're looking to transport our tablespaces from 9.2.0.5.0 to a 10g DB for testing (not a production box).
However, it would be nice to transport the tablespaces back again to 9.2.0.5.0 if things don't work out as expected!

Is this possible or is it one-way only?

Many thanks,

Steve.
