We are big fan of big Data Buffer.

Increase the data buffer greatly reduce the load on the disk subsystem. = Everytime we increase the SGA, we see huge decrease on disk read, and = greatly reduced the load on the disk subsystem, and reduced the IOWAIT% = in unix.

And we can support the application with a mid-level storage for our busy = database.

Now we are using 10G buffer cache, for a 16g ram server, and 800+ = connections.
