Try again. Using 9.2.0.4 running on AIX 5.2 I created and dropped a temporary table using just
DROP TABLE table_name

Subject: dropping global temp tables

Sorry if this is the dumb question for the day, but how does one go about dropping the definition for a global temp table? DROP TABLE doesn't do the job for me.
